Virtual Water

Virtual Water is the amount of water used in production of a good or service. This interactive information graphic is supposed to raise awareness about this topic by connecting it to the viewer's everyday consumption of goods. For example one cup of coffe contains 140L of virtual water. Through the interactive graphic the user can learn about coffee production and compare the virtual water volume of different products. It was developed in Flash with ActionScript2.
